RISING21 is an online symposium presented by the AIA New Orleans 2030 Committee.
A 2-day Virtual event4 hours per day on Thursday and Friday November 11-12— will cover a range of pressing climate-change issues and cutting-edge solutions including: 
•   Overview of energy efficiency practices, timeline and targets, net-zero design practices, and material considerations.
•   Cross-disciplinary working groups
•   Case Studies
•   Introduction of emerging tools that test, measure and verify design performance
We invite architects, MEP professionals and all city/urban planners to embrace these challenges and seek solutions through the RISING21 symposium.
AIA NEW ORLEANS 2030 COMMITTEE
The committee's mission is to  “transform the practice of architecture in a way that is holistic, firm-wide, project based, and data-driven. By prioritizing energy performance, participating firms can more easily work toward carbon neutral buildings, developments and major renovations by 2030.” 
The AIA New Orleans 2030 Committee’s focus will be to deliver this message, educate the public, and most importantly facilitate multi-disciplinary conversations and collaboration for successful results by 2030.
